You're generalizing a bit, aren't you? As an American, I don't believe that I have any difficulties with the English language. I have seen the butchering of the language that I'm sure you are referring to...but that is not a product of being American....only of being ignorant and lazy, a problem I'm sure you folks suffer from on occasion across the pond!

I do americanise my answer i don't know why. I'll find I'm writing, "Hey man" or "dude" or "eew thats gross" which as a londoner I certainly would not normally use on say msn.
You're so right, they can't spell or speak english. For instance:
color, gray, I love math, this smells real good, realize... etc

No but when i speak to my american friend on msn i americanise it altho she really does get it in english as she lived here for 4 years.

No I dont.. I think most of the time they and us understand each other quite well Sometimes names of stores and companies throw us a bit... They dony all know who Tesco is
