I joined an Alpine Ski Team and our first practice, I nearly froze my 'you know what' off! My friend suggested to wear legwarmers for starters (cause he does) and i wondered where i could get some really warm ones, any suggestions?

Price isn't too big of an issue, just nothing crazy (like $30 qualifies as crazy) :-)

if you are actually skiing, i wouldn't wear fabric legwarmers. buy some "gaitors" from a place that actually sells skiing related products. They will keep your legs warm and your boots dry.

Also, you may want to invest in warmer pants and long underwear underneath (try smartwool or marmot). Leg warmers won't help your bootie if that's where you are cold.

I would try a ski supply store or if you can't find them there try a dance clothing store. They have some pretty warm ones for no more than $10.

http://www.thesockboutique.com has a few .. my favorite is the Lace Up ones.

They are warm and since they are laceup you can wear them over pants or at this party I actually wore them over black tights with a mini dress and heels. It looked sweet!
