i want to open my own business that is a pet boutique with a mini dining area for you and your dog. i live in CT so im wondering if its a good idea. i dont wanna lose money on a commerical building and wholesale because money is something i dont have so im kinda nervous about this risk. any advice thanks a bunch

If you feel that this is a valuable service in your area, I would definitely look into it. Check and see if there are similar businesses where you live, and if they are profitable. By the same token, make sure there isn't too much competition. I think your idea is very original, since I have heard of pet boutiques (there are some large-scale stores that sell pet products where I live, such as Pet Smart, etc.), but I have not heard of mini dining areas for the dogs and their owners. That sounds rather unique. There's an old saying -- "Nothing ventured, nothing gained", so why not give it a try? Good luck!

It certainly depends on the market, but sounds like a good idea to me. All of the pet boutiques I've seen around here (Chicago) seem to flourish. If you are in an area where the folks have a lot of disposable income, you should do well.

that was such a good idea and they are booked all the time

Good idea, I have seen stuff like that in magazines. And it is a good business as long as people can eat there too, and inculdes dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, mice, rabits, ferrets and anything you can think of so ppl do not get mad because they don't have a dog or cat.
