the day I thought my last period was on april 19th 2007 and I had spotting on may 11 then nothing on the 12th and at about 10pm on the 13th I started spotting again didn't need panyliner or ne thing, I was for sure that I was experienceing implantation bleeding, since this spotting accured 2 weeks after the end of my last menstrual, the spotting got a little bit heavier and lasted about 6 days a normal legth of a period for me, so I thought maybe it was an early period. but the doctors said my due date is feb 24th according to the measurments taken at my 1st ultrasound, so they say the last start date of my period would have to be may 20th. so if may 11th was my last day of my menstural period, then my due date would be Feb. 15th instead of the 24th. so could they be off. or no.

Yes, they can be off. Happened to me with my son. The first due date was based on my last period. When they did my ultrasound, they changed the date to three weeks later. Don't worry, the baby will come when the baby is ready. Just sit back and enjoy your pregnany. Your day to be a mom will come before you know it. Good luck.

Yes doctors are off a lot on due dates. My first son was 3 weeks off. They usually do tests toward the end to be a bit more accurate. They can use ultra sounds or other blood tests to get a better idea.

Most of the time doctors are off anyways. The actual day they give you will probably not be the day the baby is due. It will be due around that time. I wouldn't be so worried about it. I was due April 25th and my daughter decided to come into the world April 30th. So it was in the time frame they gave me.

The due date is always just an educated guess. I would go by the date on the scan, but really it could be off by a couple of weeks either way.

it is a educated guess. they can not be certain as to the exact date. they take all the information ( lmp, us measurements etc) and make the best guess. yes they can be off, they can be wrong, and it could change later down the road. they can tell you you are having a girl and it is really a boy. they are doctors not god and anything can happen. they make the best educated guess. having a baby and being pregnant anything can happen.

Yes, he could be. My aunt was 3 weeks late when she had my cousin and she was getting worried but everything turned out to be fine. My cousin was a healthy baby and nothing was wrong with her.
