True let's take advice from someone on how the galaxy was created when they can't even spell galaxy.

Edit:

Talk about B/S, Jesus taught you to spell? Let's get real. Just another example of trying to hold a debate with a moron.

Edit #2: You some how end up looking more ridiculous after every comment you make. What you are referring is not evolution but rather ambiogenesis. Do your homework before you translate your diarrhea of the mouth.

Edit #3: zahbudar: Access to good educations? Nice, and you have been? The truth of the matter is if you want to relate things to science I can do that. The question arises around Big Bang. Conservation of Energy (yes the first law of thermodynamics) states that energy cannot be created or destroyed but rather only changed to a different form. This baits the question, Even if the Big Bang occurred, Energy must have been present in order for this to happen. Ponder how that's possible. Even some of the most world renowned scientists believed in a higher being Galileo, Newton, Sir Francis Bacon, Copernicus, Kepler, Descartes, Mendel, Kelvin, Einstein, need I continue?

Well, if you want to think about it a certain way - Jupiter is necessary where it is, otherwise Earth would've been pummeled with space debris far longer than if it wasn't there, or in a different orbit.

We don't really know how the full extent of the other planets' effect on Earth; We know how much gravitational pull they have, we know things about them, but what *if* they were put there for a certain purpose - to intercept a large meteor or comet?

Faith in anything without seeing is blind this is true. There will come a day when non believers will see their child fighting for their life because of what another unbeliever/believer has done. It may be you..in either case a choice will arise. To become angry at GOD for what has happened or to ask GOD for forgiveness and help. Maybe this person that is fighting to stay alive will be you...Maybe a loved one, but it will happen. Either way...through anger or humility you will acknowledge that their is GOD. You see....neither you or the top contributor have yet felt that kind of pain or want. Fear not...it rains or both the righteous and the wicked.

Wow...one can accept science and religion at the same time.

Look at Francis Collins, the head of the Human Genome Project. He's an evangelical Christian AND accepts evolution.

While the evidence to support this story is glareingly absent, it is a good story that can be told to the masses of uninformed people who have not had access to good educations and studies of the heavens. The problem you address is when (???) will people stop repeating the tale.

In all likelyhood it will be repeated for eons because it is writen in the Book of Genesis in the Bible. We certainly cannot state that the Bible is wrong, can we?
