I'm not living in a dorm, I'm just taking classes and I'm full time again, but blah I can't keep motivated.

Some questions to think about:
1. Why are you in college? Do you really want to be or are your parents making you go? College isn't for everyone, and not all fields require a degree, so if you haven't discovered any course of study that interests you, then maybe you should explore career fields in which a college education isn't required.

2. What is it about college that you don't like? Do you hate your classes? Is it too much work? Are you lonely? Is it too competitive? College can be a difficult transition. Talk to your professors if there are certain classes that are a problem for you. Or try getting involved in one of the campus organizations so that you can meet people with similar interests. Have you declared a major? If so, maybe you should think about switching. If not, maybe it's the lack of a specific goal to work towards that's making you feel unmotivated.

3. Most importantly, what do you think is keeping you from being motivated? Why did you leave school twice before, and what do hope to gain now that you're back? In-depth knowledge about a subject that you're passionate about? A degree? A social network? You have to decide what you want out of your college experience. It's a big commitment, and if you're having a hard time being motivated to stay, maybe you should take some more time off and not go back until you know what you want.

When I was in college, most of the people whom I knew that were unmotivated were smoking a lot of dope. If you like to drink or do drugs -- ssee if you become more motivated if you stop or cut back.

If this is not a problem for you -- then it might be that you haven't found the right major yet. College should excite you -- so don't be afraid to try different classes until you find an area that motivates you.

Good luck.

It helps if you can find some friends that HAVE the momentum. It's like peer pressure. If all your friends are studying hard, then you'll start feeling bad and do it too. A bonus would be that they can help you with homework and studying. (This works for me.) Hope it works out for you.
