I have no preference, I have both ... three dogs and two cats. I love cats for their 'I don't give a s*it' attitude, and dogs for their goofy antics. :)

I like cats better. With dogs, you have to walk them and pick up after them(if you know what I mean). With cats, you just train them to use the litter box. I dont mind cleaning the litter box. A dog can turn on you, but a cat can't(they would just ignore you). Hope this helps... Good luck.

I do like dogs, but I hate drama, and cats usualy provide a lot less drama.
When I had my dogs, they were always getting skunked, or porkupined, or fighting with other dogs, or getting into the garbage...
My cat just wants to be let out once in awhile.

I much prefer DOGS - They are loyal and are always happy to see you. They are much more personable.
CATS - are only letting YOU live in THEIR world!
They have that "cat-itude" - that you are totally expendable.
Ever try "calling a cat?" They only come to you, if you have food for them. Dogs just enjoy your company.

i like both i like to have cats inside the house because mine likes to cuddle, i like to have dogs outside to play with my kids and to be a watch dog for intruders
