The true meaning of Christmas is sure not about the gifts.
It is more about love, getting together and sharing the joy of Christmas! It is not so much the gift but what kind of gift we give. All the groups that works hard to make sure that all families can at least have one good meal and toys for the young ones. Go visit those who can't go out, invite those who would be alone on Christmas.
Yes I pray for peace and I do enjoy the gifts I give and receive but the best Christmas for me as always been the one that I know I made a difference by sharing the magic of Christmas with them!

We usually don't do gifts at Christmas, and I really don't care. They only distract me from focusing on why Christians celebrate the originally pagan holiday in the first place and what we are supposed to remind ourselves of and celebrate every day, Christ.
However, last year we did get the chance to donate a water filter to a family we met in Ghana and the last couple years our grandparents donated a goat to families in Uganda in our name.

I don't really care if I get gifts or not. The reason I don't have the things I really, really want is that I can't afford to buy them myself. And nobody I know can afford to buy them either.
And I'd rather not get anything instead of getting a gift that you can tell was bought just to say "okay, I bought you something". For example--I'd prefer a candy bar instead of something I don't need/want like perfume. Perfume is a nice gift, if it's what you like. but it's not for me.

I'm one of those people who don't care if I get anything. I love to buy gifts for others, and enjoy seeing my family open their gifts.

I don't care. The best part of Christmas is the whole family being together ... playing games, horse drawn sleigh rides, warm egg-nog, eating, laughing and tobogganing. :)

I don't care, until everyone else is opening their gifts. I love watching the kids open theirs though.

nah i dont care theres lots of stuff i want really really badly but i wont get them but i know my kids will be happy so that makes me happy

i don't really care. i just lvove spending time with all the family, although it can be stressfull at times.
