It's "What A feeling" by Irene Cara and was used in the movie "Flashdance". Her recording career soon fizzled out due to a lawsuit she filed against her record label over royalties. It took nearly a decade to resolve this dispute and the courts ruled in her favor but her career as a recording artist was over. She hasn't been on the charts since the mid-1980s.

It is Irene Cara; I think the official title is "Flashdance (What a Feeling)". It is from the movie "Flashdance" as well.
