I think the meaning of life is "to be"

Life has no meaning. It simply exists. Now we sentient beings need to have a sense of purpose, so we find meaning in our individual lives. But life as a whole, just is. Ain't it great!

Oh, the last cheetah I talked to didn't give a squat about "love" and "laugh." (Anthropomorphic sentiments above me, maybe.)

And that God thing: that's an example of people who believe there must be some divine purpose and plan because they don't have a firm grasp of the reality. They can be forgiven, though. It gives them comfort and a sense of importance. And power.

Sandy, yeah. Like that.

"Try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations."

Since life does not have a meaning (it simply is, like the other fellow said spot on!), YOU are personally responsible to give meaning to YOUR life. And your life alone. Leave other people respectfully alone with YOUR ideas of meaning.

To achieve one-ness through isolation and self-betterment. Good luck with that...TV tends to be a distraction.
