Yep. The landlord is not obligated to notify you of rate increases that are not part of your rental agreement.
I suggest looking for a local laundra-mat and just do your washing off site. If more people do this, the landlord will see a decline in profits and might then lower the cost to bring you back.

Unless it is guarenteed in the lease, I would say yes. Having hot water and a working fridge are considered vital to habitability. The price of the laundry likely would not. Most states require a notice for rent increases, but I doubt the alundry rates would stand up. Sorry.

The only safeguard you would have against the landlord raising the laundry price would be if the cost was written in the lease.
As this is probably not the case, you are sol.

That’s not something normally covered by a lease, and I can’t think of a reason why the landlord would be required to disclose this. Unless you’re in the middle of nowhere, chances are you have access to some other coin laundry service.

Raising the rent? Yes. Raising the price of a laundry load? No. She doesn't require you to do your laundry there. Would you have this same question if the local laundromat raised it's prices?

If the laundry fee was included in your lease then she would have to notify you first; however, if not then she can change the fee at any time. If she tries and change your rent without notice then you have something to complain about.

Yes she is. She owns the laundry. The only thing she has to legally notify you of is a rent increase.

Yes. Laundromats are not a requirement, they are there for your convenience. You might check your contract and see if there is anything mention with regards to 'common areas' but I would think that there is probably nothing in there about the cost of doing laundry. It's not nice, but I don't think that there is anything illegal or unlawful about it.

She can do whatever she wants with her laundry equipment, she doesn't HAVE to have it there you know, it is a convenience for you to be able to wash your clothes on the premises...on the other hand, you don't like it, take your laundry to the laundromat.

Yes as long as she's the owner she can charge however much. Take notice that's its winter and water prices tend to rise. She may just be needing the extra compensation for now.
