Are there any places that are trending toward upwardly mobile singles and DINKs? These locations should have nice coffee shops and night-life with-in walking distance. I know Washington Avenue is popular for this demo, but are there areas near Forest Park.

Definitely! The Central West End is perfect, as is the Loop. If you want to get farther away from Forest Park, South Grand is one of my absolute favorite spots.

Central West End especially close to Euclid Ave and Lindell. Lots of bars, restaurants and some very nice apartments and condos. Just a few minute drive to The Grove area, The Hill, University City Loop and the South Grand area too.

Head over to the substantial West end. there's a bar for any style there, and it extremely is very nearly around the line from the park. Down Kingshiway good at I44, you may visit O'Connell's. I nonetheless like it as much as I did 40 years in the past in college. a touch farther downtown, you will stumble on a lot of places around St. Louis college.

Sure! The Central West End is ideal. Runs right along the northern edge of the park (and continues to the east of it behind Barnes-Jewish Hospital). You can also go directly to the south west of the park along Clayton Road. There are a number of condos and apartments in that area. Also a nice strip of coffee house type places along Demun.
