To do this you need to know is it a interference or a non interference engine.
An interference engine means if the timing belt breaks, it bends the valves and the head will have to be removed to repair the damage.
If it is a non interference engine it means it will not cause any damage and just replacing the belt will fix it.
Interference engine 1000 2000
non interference engine 500 700
This is including all the parts

Not being familiar with the engine.

However many modern engines run such fine tolerances that when the cam belt goes the valves will be saying howdy doody to the pistons which will be doing their damdest to slam them through the cylinder head.

The result of this is mechanical carnage inside the engine with lots of very expensive bits getting damaged and broken.

Repairs in a case like this seldom cost less than what the car is worth.

Therefore they are not usually worth doing

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings.

I would say $400-$800. If you can do the work yourself you could probably do it for under $200. If the belt broke its unlikely but possible that you did some major damage to you engine. If thats the case plan on spending at least $2000 to fix it or more than the car is probably worth.

Depending on the timing belt "placement" it can be anywhere from $500-$1000... I had a Ford Escort and to get to the timing belt you had to take the engine out and the water pump.. The kit was around $70....It's the labor that's expensive. I would call around and see the various estimates... Good luck

If you go to Napa.com , or Oreillyauto.com, or search any other auto parts website, they usually have great search engings to locate the parts and the prices of the parts. As far as the how much labor is, you would have to call some shops and ask.
