Well LSUballs, it doesn't come as a surprise to me since I have been attending games since 1972. I have read where the construction of Tiger Stadium is an engineering marvel. The noise from the stadium just goes straight to the field of play. I forget the gentleman that was on the field at Tiger Stadium during a week day and he heard someone talking (i.e., regular voice) in the Press Box which is quite a ways up. He was amazed as have been so many teams that have played at Death Valley on a Saturday night. I have been to several stadiums across the country and not being biased but LSU's is one of a kind.

To BulldogBlitz - You are correct in that LSU fans and the athletic department as well hate to play a daytime game at Tiger Stadium. However, the television contracts demand it. It's tough for LSU fans to get up early and start partying so hard in the morning especially after a good time on Friday night.

To Stonewall - Congratulations in that you have finally discovered how we get the refs to see it our way.

To Whaler - You are right to a certain degree but the fans do help the home team.

nicely, he wasn't precisely standard for continuously making the nicely suited decision off the sphere, so no telling if he could have on the sphere. He would have thrown basically as a lot of those %. sixes. He did no longer play on a protection that gave up 50 factors in 2 video games, the two. He replaced right into a expertise, so he could have made some difference, yet i think of LSU nonetheless loses to Georgia and Florida, and in all probability certainly one of the different 2, even maybe the two Ole miss and Alabama. i think of it relatively is risk-free to assert they could have overwhelmed Arkansas with him.

A very close second place would have to be Uconn. Why? because they can play any style they want but you have to abide by the rules of the game and refs that look the other way. For example: Can I say temple? Can I say Fair Catch and Louisville? Come on now, the big LEAST has to be proud of their fine Huskies because they keep the wins coming in. LSU could play the game of their life in East Hartford and still get beat. They would likely go home with not only a loss, but several players out with ACL injuries from illegal chop blocks that didnt get called. Everytime LSU scored, theyd find a way to review it"UCONN Style", and LSU actually would lose the game. It wouldnt matter if the teams had 850 total yds for LSU-to Uconns 180,,,,Uconn would WIN. Thats a fact of life there.

That's really cool, man.

I wish the coliseum was that loud. Our fans need to learn to be more loyal and passionate.

Good luck to the LSU tigers the rest of the season. I hope they can make it to the title game and win it all since my school will not make it I want the best team to win.

I saw that this morning. Its pretty awesome to be #3 in the entire world in any sport.

I have to agree with Zinger. Ive been to many stadiums, and there is nothing that compares to Deaf Valley on a Saturday night.

This is hardly a legitimate review, look at what he lists about himself:

Popular Teams

* Green Bay Packers
* England (National Football)
* LSU Football
* New Orleans Saints
* Texas A&M Football

Anyone can write an article for The Bleacher Report, you guys have sunk to a new low to try and prove you're "special".

Gee I am sure there will be a whole bunch of unbiased opinions here.

There are just as intimidating places to play in college football.

The list is pretty subjective, most players do not know the history of Lambeau Field. If you ask most people who actually play Arrowhead is tougher to play in. Lambeau is a good story that is it. So the list is also opinion.

Lastly the stadium is only as hard to play in as the team that plays there.

Former coach Mike Archer said the difference between a day game and a night game, is you could smell the bourbon on the field at night.

I believe it. You can hear the stadium for miles away from the "death valley" or should I say "deaf valley" stadium during a game.
