I have tried cleaning the filters and I have put my clothes through an extra spin cycle just in case. However, every time I dry something I have to drain the hose after one cycle, and it takes multiple cycles to completely dry my clothes!

how long is your hose and how cold is it in your laundry room?
Either your dryer isnt getting hot enough or something is plugged and not allowing the air to move out the hose fast enough. Lint can get built up in other areas of the dryer if the screen is leaking or not cleaned each use. Make sure your outside vent isnt plugged also. When the dryer is on go outside and feel for the hot moist air being blown out. If you can barely feel it then you have a plug.

Vent Hose For Tumble Dryer

The duct from the dryer to the outside may be clogged. It could also be tilted back towards the dryer instead of towards the outside. The water and even condensation from outside temps is then trapped in the duct. If you use softener sheets in the dryer, remove the lint filter and run it under water. If it holds water, clean it with soap and water. The chemicals can build up and clog the screening. This should be done a couple times a year.

You have a lint buildup in the exhaust system. This can be anywhere from the ductwork inside the dryer through the outside exhaust vent. The lint filter does not catch all the lint. It will buildup throughout the dryer cabinet. This is one of the biggest causes of house fires in the country. People relly need to clean out their dryer ducts pretty often.

if it is electric, the heater coiles may be bad, if it is gas, it's probably not firing up the gas. does the dryer get hot, if it is spinning without heat the water won't evaporate.
