If you see a man/woman who is the sexiest darned thing in the world, and they are pretty nice, are they beautiful? Or if you see a man/woman who is not all that attractive opening their heart and trying to make other people happy, are they beautiful?

beauty is the positive value added to this life....the harmony is the beauty which can be found in any of your life aspects.
I mean you can look beautiful and act beautiful....

Beauty is how the person is inside not just the exterior because a person might be pretty/handsome on the outside but on the inside that person could be a monster.
If the person is beautiful inside and outside, then I think they are beautiful.
If the person is trying to open their hearts even though they are not pretty/handsome, yes, they are beautiful for who they are not for how they look because they are only trying to live along with the others making them feel nice.

Beauty is a quality that makes you feel you have discovered something perfect. That's why the ancient Greeks thought physical beauty was a virtue. When I'd look at my Grandma's smile or a smooth, round stone, I'd see beauty, because there was a little flash of Perfection. Incidentally, the Greeks knew that the earth was round, even if they hadn't calculated it mathematically (which they did), because a sphere is a perfect shape, and the earth is perfect. What we see as beauty in a person is the symmetry of their shape or features. The shine of hair or the color of skin signals perfection to us. But it is true that beauty that comes from within brings out that same feeling. That beauty will last forever, even when our shapes and faces get saggy and out of symmetry.

Beauty to me is the best thing within a person, not out. Sexy is not beautiful to me. Someone trying to make people happy and do good things is beautiful

Nature is beautiful. It is ageless.
People are beautiful and for me, it does not matter if the faces are attractive or not. Physical attributes have a very short shelf life. Beauty is within, a spark , a light. a soul

To me, the second part of ur question is the most discriptive of beauty, but the combination of both in a person would truely make that person beautiful!

look that stuff about inner beauty and bla bla, that's just something grownups created for when we were kids to make us feel hopeful in this world.
however beauty are many thing, could be a face, or a gesture of kindness. you can tell who's beautiful if that some one treats you with respect and make you fell good about yourself.
that and a pair of boobs wouldn't hurt... jaja just kidding

I am going to be predicable and say that the beautiful is a part of the good. The good is an indefinable part of the absolute. We can't define it, but we know it when we see it.
