Does anyone know if the IBM T21 laptop has built in wireless connection for the internet. I dont know if I have to go to the store and buy a router or a wi fi card. Can someone please help?! Thanks!

Yes it does. I had one that has it...

But it also depend on the T21 model you are getting. Some comes without it...

There's a quick way to check.

Click on the Start button then right-click on My Computer (in the right column) and then select Properties at the bottom of the menu

Next, click on the Hardware tab at the top and then on Device manager.

When the window opens up it should list what's on your computer. this is a good way to check for problems too if something isn't working.

Look for Network Adapters. It should have a little plus sign on it. Click on the plus sign to see everything that's under it.

Look for anything listed as "wireless adapter" or with "803.B"

My guess is that it doesn't, because IBM doesn't list it as a basic component and it came out right before wireless was standard.
