Extremely Disappointed. My favorite team FSU has a 2-3 record. I look at there losses and I don't want to take anything away from there opponents, but FSU beat themselves with stupid penalties and careless turnovers. Two weeks in a row the offense had the ball at the opponents 1 yard line and they failed to punch the ball into the end zone. Every time the offense seems to be driving one of the receivers, or running backs fumbles the ball. They players need to hold onto that football. The defense has some real fast players, but those players are always out of position and missing assignments and giving up big plays. Now the trustees at FSU are calling for the firing of Bowden. Robinson dropped a pass at the end of the game that should have been a pick 6. But instead Boston College drives for a winning touchdown. The dropped pass is somehow Bowden's fault. The players need to be smarter on the field, take some pride and take responsibility for fumbling the football. FSU seems to be in disarray right now. People are calling for heads to roll instead of coming up with real solutions to help get FSU back on track.

It is 8 for every team this season except the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins were considered the home team when they played the Giants at Wembly Stadium in London earlier this year. So they actually only play 7 games in their home stadium this year.

8 regular season plus preseason plus playoffs minus overseas"home" games.
There is also the potential "disaster relocated" games that could be subtracted from the total.
