I'm an international student in USA. Can I take a cruise to caribean by my China passport and my J-1 US visa

I just want to go to the border city in Mexicao and Bahamas.
I'm expecting the answers.

I don't think so, you need to find out from immigration what your J-1 US visa covers, some of them do not allow you to leave the country. You can do domestic travel with you China passport, and if your J-1 US visa does allow you to travel aboard, then you can use your passport. But like I said, check with immigration to be sure.

Chiinese Passport holders need Visas for just about all borders, and you need to apply at Bahamas and Mexican embassys for Tourist Visas an they take a lot of time to be issued.
