I couldn't agree more with "don't give them rhyming names!" I have a set of twins - identical, boys .. Tyler & Bradley. It's difficult enough being twins (they are 12 years old now) always being compared to each other - having rhyming (or similar) names just makes it worse.

I was going to name them Tyler & Taylor - my Mom asked me to think about it before I did. I'm So glad I didn't name them that - they already hear "Oh - which ever twin you are" if their names would have rhymed they would have heard "Tyler, Taylor - WHATEVER!"

Just pick two names you like. If you want to do something to kind of "join" their names, do it with their middle names. My twins middle names both start with the letter A (Tyler Andrew & Bradley Aaron) .. good luck - twins are GREAT!
