never never never get anybody's name tattooed on you unless they are a blood relation. you know kids, your mom.
so not a good idea. i have never known anybody that did not end up regretting it, and they cost allot to get removed. instead get something that is a symbol or picture that you can pick out with your girl that will mean something to you.
for my two year anniversary with my husband( now ex- husband) he bought me a tattoo that says a ghara. that's Gaelic for "my love". even though we are not together anymore i still love the tattoo and would not get it removed. if i got one with his name on it however i would be incredibly upset. and i know you think you and your girl are forever and you think you will never break up, but it happens. i thought mine was forever too. just be careful and don't do anything you would regret.

I have 5 tattoos. My upper back, Front of my shoulder/collar bone, ankle, foot, and inside my lip. My back was least painful. I also have 7 peircings, and I would have to say i think peircings hurt worse than tattoos, except my ankle and foot those really hurt because there is nothing but bone.

Why not try have the B and J intertwine somehow instead of using hearts or anything that signifies love. That way, if you too break up...it won't be as obvious.

wow, it's not a good idea to get a tattoo with someone's name on it, just in case....my daughter has a tattoo with her kid's names on it, but that's different. they are always going to love her and she's always going to love them. you sound pretty young, too, so i would give it a lot of thought. there's a lot of future ahead of you.
