I'm sick of sitting around the house, and I could use the extra money right now, but I don't think any one's gonna hire a pregnant woman. I'm not showing yet, but I will be soon. What should I do, and were should I look?

you should go work at a department store that mostly sells baby stuff that way they are more understandable with your condition and can accomidate you. You should check out babies r us, childrens place etc... its a good way to save money and to learn about new products and a good source of excercise.

I was the same way, but my parents & my bf told me that I could wait after the baby. U don't have to tell them that ur pregnant. I doubt that they will fire u just b/c u r when u do start to show. Just make sure u get something easy w/o lifting heavy objects. Maybe dept. store such as Macy's or a clerical job. Good luck!!! =)

For one no one can not hair you because you are pregnant and you dont have to tell them till after you get the job but you should tell them after being haired. And you should look at jobs that you want something that you are okay with and not something that will be too hard. Staying active while you are pregnant is good for you and the baby.people will say nothing with alot of walking or standing but it is good for you unless you doctor says other way. But nothing to do with lifting heave things nothing over 10 lbs.GOOD luck!

Find a job that you'll really be able to do. Something where that won't require heavy lifting or being on your feet for long periods of time (trust me, you'll like being able to sit down when you get further along) And don't worry about showing, most woman don't show for atleast another three or four months from where you are.

I started my job when I was 15 weeks along. During interviews and such they technically cant ask you if your pregnant or anything, I would suggest finding one quickly so you can possibly pass it off as you didnt know yet. Also you might want to look for a desk job, I was a waitress for the first trimester and it absolutly sucked SO bad! Hope that helps! :) Good luck!

Companies can't refuse to hire you because you are pregnant. You don't even have to reveal to them that you are pregnant until you are ready...even if they ask, you don't have to tell! As far as where you should look--that's all up to you. What are your qualifications? What do you LIKE to do? What do you think you could continue to do throughout your pregnancy without complications? Good luck and congrats!

go for it. a job will help your self esteem and lower the chances of post partem. plenty of people hire pregnant people - its discrimination not to. Look for something easy (say Macy's in the jewlery department where they will provide you a stool to get off your feet)

don't tell them you are pregnant until after they hire you,... they don't need to know because it will influence their decision to hire you whether they admit it or not and it's illegal for them to not hire you because of that. That's what I did,... and immediately after they said I was hired I told them. it all worked out fine,... good luck
