If Hillary gets the nomination we are in for the ugliest election in US history. I am an independent that usually votes more Democrat, but I could never vote for her. I think she is sleezy. Whitewater, the pardons, her campaign contributions from China, her running for Senate in a state she never lived a day in, etc. have left a very bad taste in my mouth.

If Hillary gets the nomination, she will get her 30+% vote from her hardcore fans. Another 10% consisting of independents/Dems will vote for her. The remaining 60% of the nation will vote against her, not FOR her competitor. If the Republicans can put up a presidential candidate that America could get behind, then they have a shot at the win. If they put up Rudi, then this may be the year that a third-party candidate could make some serious noise.

Depends on many factors. If the economy is poor, the war is bogged down and oil is $100 a bbl, it wont matter which Republican is running, as voters will again punish the Reps.
If on the other hand all is well, then she will probably lose, as her negative rating is far too high.

Not a guaranteed win, but it will definitely propel uninterested Republicans to the polls in November 2008 to vote against her.

Even if it means voting for a 3-time married womanizer, who supports gun control, gay-rights, and is strongly pro-choice.

Probably, even the Dems are afraid of her getting the nomination.

I think if any one of the main GOP candidates get the nomination Hillary will win. If Ron Paul gets the nomination, he'll win by a landslide.

boy is it slim pickings; but my vote will not be cast for Hillary; I just can't warm up to her as a person ; she doesn't have any individual backbone and now that I see she is backing driver licenses for illegal aliens, it is worse; we might as well dissolve national security department and just her and the governor of NY the money ; they don't follow the laws on the books now what is going to change? I thought they took an oath to uphold our laws and Constitution

Are you forgetting that her likely opponent would be Giuliani, a man whose record is actually to the left of Hillary Clinton.

It depends how narrow minded the USA population are. If they think a woman cannot run the country then they will not vote for her. As an outsider, I would say look at what the men have done recently! How bad can she be? I think she would be a very able president. Remember half the electorate are women.........
