There are a number of national accreditors who have recognition from either the USDoE or CHEA but regional accreditation is the standard for most colleges and what you'll want for maximum transferablity.

State approval IS NOT accreditation and should not be taken as such. In some states, state approval means nothing more than you paid a few dollars for a business license.

Trinity. Trinity is a lot harder to get into and with recommendations from a place like that... Amazing university to go to.
