Ad-Aware helps remove adware and spyware on your PC, and does so by updating its signatures from Ad-Aware's servers and scanning your system for problems. It's good as an adjunct to other spyware removal programs, but I wouldn't rely solely on it, as it provides no realtime protection. You should consider either Spyware Terminator (www.spywareterminator.com) or the free version of Spyware Doctor from Google (pack.google.com) for realtime protection, or one of the better commercial programs such as Spyware Doctor (full version).

It scans for and removed Spyware. The only thing is that Ad-Aware SE is being phased out. You will want to get Ad-Aware 2007, it's the newest version.

its basically a spyware remover. Works very well,even the free ware edition is a great tool. It takes out tracking cookies,Trojan horses and deep rootkits planted in your web browser or registry.Download an use it. I''ve been using it for a year now,and i swear by it.

It kills spyware, malware and the like and cookies and temps but mostly from the Browser Cache. Its very good piece of software. And its FREE

I think it is worth it, it helps identify and remove most of the Adware that you will acquire while browsing, its not heavy on RAM usage.
