You can learn make-up in cosmetology school (there's more than hair there) but the people that do stage makeup (Broadway) are usually theatrical make-up artists and not cosmetologists.

What you would probably want to do is a bachelor's degree in technical theater AND a trade level cosmetology program.

Most important, you'd need considerable experience in the theater for those jobs.

Model's makeup and hair is done by cosmetologists with high fashion skill.

You've got some fun research to do! Half the battle is figuring out what to do after high school. You've stated that make/up/cosmetology and graphic design are your top two interests. Great! Use the internet to look up colleges that offer those areas as majors, then read about those departments at different schools. Don't want LSU? Ok. Can you/your family afford an out of state school? If not, maybe get your core courses done at a local community college while you save up to get out of Baton Rouge. Sky's the limit!! Best wishes to you:)

You're only in junior high. Take a deep breath, and let it out. You really don't need to be stressing at this point in your life about college. Even if you're in 8th grade right now, you still have 4 years of High School to go before you have to really worry about it! Most student's don't even start to look at colleges until the summer between their Junior and Senior years.

It's good that you're thinking ahead though. For now all you really need to so is make sure you keep your grades up, and participate in extra-curricular activities so you'll have a good application when it comes time for you to really start stressing about it.

When you get to 9th grade, see if your parent's will take you to a college fair. Go and see your counselor in High School and they will do a lot to help you prepare for college.

My advice to you would be this:

If you intend to go to college, you must first learn to spell, use proper English, punctuation, and capitlization.

I'm not picking on you, but I'm dead serious. The use of text messaging and instant messaging seems to have destroyed the ability of many young folks to use capital letters, etc.

When communicating in a public forum, you should use proper English, just to enforce good habits. A college application with this type of writing will get you a quick rejection.
