The way I understood it when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon their was a very light very inconsequential atmosphere. All of the various Apollo missions and Russian mission polluted what little atmosphere that there is. This atmosphere is not capable of supporting any life at all, pure or polluted.

If on a planet, the value of g (acceleration due to gravity) is low, then the escape velocity v , given by v=√2gR (where R is the radius) will also be low.If the molecules possess velocity greater than the value of escape velocity of the planet, the molecules will escape the planet with passage of time and that planet will have no atmosphere. This applies to moon also and the gravity of moon is also too low and hence there is no atmosphere on the moon.

There is no air or any gaseous atmosphere, because the gravity of the moon is too feeble to retain gases from escaping.

No; the moon doesn't have any atmosphere. It's not massive enough to retain an atmosphere, and has no magnetic field protecting it from solar wind.

No the moon is too small and has too little gravity to hold onto an atmosphere.
