Do you ever read questions on here and ask yourself why the person isn't doing their own research? So many times I find myself "googling" a topic for an asker on here. Wouldn't it take less time & effort for that person to just type their own topic into google and find the answer themselves? It doesn't bother me, I was just curious if anyone else thinks this too.
Maybe I should google "why people don't google".

LOL! I'm glad most of you feel the same way. I love answering questions from people looking for advice, or who are relying on people's past experiences. But there are questions on here like "what colors to the new honda hybrid SUV come in?" Those are the questions that I just reply www.honda.com, ya know?

I have been curious about that ever since I heard of answers.
I do see if I can google and find the answer myself before asking. But, I was never an ace at research.
But, In a way I like to reasearch random questions for people because I learn new things.

YES. All NON P&S answers can pretty much be googled, people are just lazy. Yahoo even gives you the option to search it when you click answer. HONESTLY. The whole thing is really absurd unless you have a sense of humor and/or hang out here.

lol...actually, the majority of the questions that are asked on
Y!A can be googled, but I think people ask just for hell of it..Just like when people ask questions about medical advice, I always say why don't you go to the doctor or call your doctor and ask? Y!A isn't going to help you..lol. I guess its fun for some people to ask questions, and get other peoples opinion on it.

I think people don't "google" first because then they wouldn't have anything to ask.
I never ask things here that I could easily look up myself.
