My kids used the iron to make plastic stained "glass" ornaments and well, now I don't iron!
If you spray starch on cotton or linen clothing and throw it in the dryer for a bit, you don't even need the iron!

There is a can of spray starch in the Laundry Room, but it has not been used in a very long time. I would lightly spray my ex's shirt collars, but we are not together anymore (happily).

I am very old fashioned I use starch on white shirts steam on everything else.
