I agree with your stand on abortion. The Bible does say the life is in the blood and if true life would begin in the womb when blood started to flow through the fetus. Even though there is pain associated with child birth the child should not have to pay with their life so the mother can avoid this pain.
Once born the parents might have a change of heart (what a tragedy if never given this chance) or adoption is always a viable option. There are many good people waiting for a child that can't, for some reason, have one on their own.
Now as far as not killing anything including plants, I can see being against killing of animals but the consequences would be being a vegetarian. Not killing plants though would leave us with no options for food. Once a plant or it's fruit is pick it is actually dead and starts to decay. This ideal would also cut out ever having cut flowers in your house.

i've always been very torn on this emotive subject..i personally don't think i would ever have had an abortion, i was lucky though to have been blessed with two healthy children conceived in a loving relationship..sadly this isn't always the case is it..some people discover that the child they are carrying would have very little quality of life so decide to end their life before it has barely begun..others may have conceived through abuse or rape..at the end of the day i feel the gestation age needs to be lowered to a maximum of 16 weeks but there has to be that option because although i am against abortion as a form of birth control (then it seems a murderous option) how can anyone make a woman who has been raped then go through nine months waiting to see if they can love a child conceived in such a way unless they want to..also who has the right to force a parent to bring a child into the world who would need countless operations just to be able to live on machines with no quality of life(surely then it is more of a euthanasia type of situation)..that said i don't feel abortion is right for babies with downs syndrome, spina bifida etc etc as many sufferers live a very fulfilling life regardless of their disability..at the end of the day though i do see it must be a difficult decision for most women but where are the needs/rights of the foetus and also the father in all of this..it always has and always will be highly emotive with people on opposing sides but if it is stopped will we then go back to backstreet illegal and dangerous abortions where women are risking their lives and future children..lastly, the saddest thing is with all these babies being aborted and yet so many childless couples desperate for even a chance of a child to love and nurture.

I too am against abortion, but I am also not walking in another person's shoes and therefore have no right to judge. It is just something I could never do under any cicumstances I would rather put the child up for adoption that kill it. Death at any point in pregnancy caused by choice is murder to me.

You are absolutely right. Maybe you should show your friend
a video of what happens when a child is being aborted.
I know it sounds cruel, but some times that is the only way
to show a person the horror of murdering an Innocent precious human being.

God Bless You.

I am against abortion but that is my personal opinion and i would never force it on anyone else. I believe the current limit for abortions in the UK of 24 wks, however, are ridiculous and should be changed to 12 wks maximum. By the time the foetus grows to 24 wks it is a fully formed baby.

Its a touchy subject for alot of ppl and you're bound to get alot of mixed responses from ppl chicks......x x x

I believe that it should be a legal option for women - otherwise we will go back to the horror of illegal backstreet abortions. I do think that the time limit should be reduced - 12 weeks - unless exceptional circumstances.
On the moral issue, I do not believe this is murder but I strongly disapprove of it being used as emergency contraception.

Well you are a little too extreme for me. God provides animals and plants as sources of food among other purposes.

As far as unborn fetuses they are living organisms and I agree they should not be harmed. However there are cases that are exceptions, such as a mother who is in a high risk pregnancy and it puts her life in danger. In some cases, not removing the fetus would cause the death of both, when one could have been saved

I am pro-choice but I am also pro-life. I do not agree with it but who am I to really say. I think there are many options, such as adoption. And who do you consider the murderer, the mother or the doctor?

I think there's only one viable reason for an abortion, and thats if neither the mother nor the baby will survive, and an abortion can save the mother's life. When there are parents all over waiting for babies to adopt, saying you can't afford to raise a baby is ridiculous. You may not be able to, but many others are able and willing to take that burden.

It is worse than rape or pervertism..its murder. No-one deserves to be murdered whatever what their age. Especaily a child who had not even taken their first breath. Even if the child is not wanted you could at least put it up for adoption so it can be loved and cared for by someone who maybe cant have children. Do you know the awful thins that happen to little babies in the womb? One of the methods of abortion is the babies neck is slit and each part of their bosy eg. arms, legs are cut of anf put into serparate buckets. Another form s sucks the skelathon of the child through its mouth until its bones are chrsuhed. Or the silent scream where the childs air supply is cut of.

It is a disgusting and horrible thing to do. magine someone having that on their concise killing a child is like killing a person. Anyone who does it should be punished, and they will be in their life.

I believe that for the most cases, I would have to say : Before both people lose themselves into the Heat of the Passion of the Moment, please, PLEASE,!!! allow an interruption to this overwhelming FEELING, and give consideration to the possible consequences. For a third life, you are selfishly, setting aside, as if it did not MATTERED at all!
In some cases where the mother or child is in peril, then abortion, I believe has a right to be considered seriously, but never frivolously!
