Hi, unfortunately, you sound like you have a 40 day cycle. Women usually range between a 28 - 42 day cycle. This is normal so don't worry yourself. The symptoms you are having are ALL normal also, a lot of people suffer from migraines either a week before or during my period. The best way to handle your headaches or stress which is usually a result from a build up of tension in the neck & shoulder area, is to have very hot showers & let the water hit the back of your neck & shoulder to alleviate the tension. Also, tension headache medications works and migraine gel pads you put across your forehead as well are great. You would find these things at your local CVS or Walgreen's. You may also take vitamin B. There is a new pill out now that helps you have a 3 day period etc, but I advise you to talk to your doctor about that type of pill. I'm guessing you are sexually active, if you are, I suggest using condoms rather than that pill, I think you should talk it over with your mother or doctor if you are able to. Other than this, there is no way of controlling your period. No food or drinks will help.
I doubt you're pregnant, since you said you were on your pill, but take a home pregnancy test anyways, it'll make you feel less stressed or worried.
Good luck.

My guess is that your cycle is re-regulating itself, but you didn't say whether or not you had unprotected sex.
If you had sex either in the last week of being on the pill, or anytime since you stopped taking it, you could be pregnant. While you're on the pill, you most likely won't get pregnant, but sperm can live for several days. If you had sex while on the pill, but three days later you stopped taking it, you could have ovulated right away and become pregnant.
You can buy a pregnancy test and take it with first morning urine, or you can take the 'wait and see' approach. Up to you!

Go get a pregnancy test. My sis who is 42 had been on the pill for years, ran out of her prescription and thought it would not hurt to miss a couple of days until she picked up her refill. Well she's now in her 37th week of pregnancy!

If you had intercourse, and you and your partner are fertile, you could be pregnant. Period.
Not even being *on* the pill prevents all pregnancies, and being off of it prevents even fewer.
You should take a pregnancy test if you want to. How in the world would anyone but you know the answer to that question? At worst, it's a waste of your money. At best, it lets you know with some degree of certainty (a much larger degree than WE can give you!) whether or not you're pregnant.

It does talk some time for the body to recover of the pill. Did you take the pill to avoid have a baby to regulate you period. Take the test because you could be pregnant.

It may be either. I would wait another week and then get a pregnancy test done if you are still late. Your body sometimes must adjust to the pill and you might need to wait. Good Luck.

I'd take a preg test just to be on the safe side and I do think your body needs time to adjust to going off the pill

I would take the pregnancy test just to be safe. You never know what might happen. Take more than one though. Sometimes they say you're pregnant and you're not, or that you aren't pregnant but you are. Take maybe three to four.
