Yes, worry can delay a period. Please try not to worry. It won't change the outcome and it will just make you feel worse. I've had several scares just like this. It turned out to be nothing.
If there is a problem, you can handle it! I know this sounds corny but everything happens for a reason. We all have strengths that we don't even know we have! But we can reach in and find them. I've found that worry can really make a person ill in many ways. I'm sure you have a support system of friends and family. Use that system to find comfort and courage. I know this is scary but like I said, the chances that it is nothing are great. What ever happens, you will come out of it a stronger and braver woman.
I send you good thoughts and healthy energy.
And remember to always breathe!

I would try not to worry too much, my doctor also told me that my baby was measuring large and it mean't that I would probably deliver a big baby....LOL, when it came time to deliver my daughter at 39 weeks, she was only 7 lbs 4 oz :- ) So don't rely too much on that, but your doctor will decide what the best option is for you. Plenty of women deliver big babies with no problems, while others require a C-Section. It will just depend how wide your hips are/if you can push the baby out, how fast you progress in labor, etc. all these things will help the doctor or you make a decision. Good Luck!

YES! In fact, stress can even delay the birth of a child! I speak from experience! Don't worry (easy to say!) it's probably nothing - the lateness OR the nodules! Usually, when you feel pain, they are too sudden and large to be cancer. Cancer is slow and stealthy. Most likely they are cysts. Check though, because delay can mean the dif between "simple fix" and "big problem".

Yes, worry, stress, allergies, etc. can all affect your period because your cycle is hormonal. If something is out of balance, it has a trickle down affect. What are you worried about? Cancer? Cysts? You've been sterilized (such a harsh term) so you are familiar with the medical side affects and such. Also, if the cause of your breast pain has been discovered, then you are already on the road to recovery. Do your body a favor and relax - seriously.

Yes, stress totally screws up your cycle. Just try to calm down. I'm sure its scarry, but look at it this way at least you know and can get it checked out. If you didn't, then it would be worse. That makes you safer than the week before. Best of luck.

Yes, it can.
When I get really worried my period normally won't start untill whatever I'm worried about has passed.
I'm sure you will be fine - normally lumps in breasts are nothing to worry about.
I wish you Good Luck and I hope that everything is fine.
