As an Englishman and owner of many major US based companies I feel I must ask this.
I have recently put together an offer to buy Yahoo and all of its features. As part of my takeover bid, I would like to inform Yahoo answers users that as from 12/11/07 there will be a £1/$2 charge for each question.
I hope you all agree, this is a step forward for Yahoo answers and continue to use it.
Regards
The Boss

Why would you think this charge is a good idea for users? There are already sponsors with their links on the site. This helps defray the cost of that.

If I had to pay $2 for each question I post, I just won't post. With few posting questions, the whole program will die a swift death...

It would be a good idea for you to use your money more
wisely and feed the needy and elderly and help fuel their
homes for the winter months of survival.
And also, u probably barely own a pot to pizz in.

I have some igloos in Nunuvit and am thinking of moving them to southern Ontario in July. Would you like to buy them too?

Well if you do that i am not sure you will get people asking questions or answering!!!!

If you are the boss of Yahoo, then why not charge people for joining, if you are that desperate for money.

Go to hell, Sidder!
I don't think you have the money to pay for a question, let alone buy Yahoo!

how very politically correct that you would ask.
are you getting soft on us?
does this mean no more stale rolls?

and will you be collecting the money personally???
*starts to think of more questions*
