I'm tired of reading really good answers and every single one of the answers having thumbs down. Most of them are actually great. Do people just give thumbs down because they can? Why do you think so many great answers have thumbs up (but a few thumbs down)?

sometimes, the person may not agree with the answer...but most of the time it is just because they are rude... Feel free to give me a thumbs up if you agree!!! yay 1 point!!

Some users get the thumbs down even though they have a great answer. That's how it's done on y!a.

Some people just love clicking on the thumbs down button, for whatever reason.
But it doesn't really matters to me, since a thumbs down is not going to take away anything from me.

usually there is no right or wrong answer.yahoo should get rid of the thumbs and just leave report it if its really rude/offensive.the thumbs are pointless.
