Amen! Well said. I'm sick of it too! You're absolutely right, no one on this earth is worth that kind of money no matter what they do for a living.
Steinbrenner is the cause of all this. He was willing to do whatever it took to win but anyone with any common sense knew that sooner or later he would have to pay the piper.
If you recall the San Fran 49'ers did the same thing. Even though there was a salary cap in the NFL, the 49'ers figured out a way to defer the salaries of several key players in order to bring even more super stars to the team. It paid off for them with 4 super bowls and now, after a decade of heartache, they are just now getting back to .500.
I feel your pain. Probably even more than most! lol

The Yankees clearly do not win the World Series every year. People can ask whatever questions they want but it is nice to see questions about other players and other teams. If I am tired of the Arod derby, I don't bother clicking on that question. Like I said, I really wish there were more questions about other teams and other players, even more questions about general baseball history. All this Arod chatter, all this bashing, it is just very superficial and makes it appear that the people posting or responding do not really have any true knowledge of the game.

"the yankees do nothing but win the world series each and every year" just f.y.i., the Sox won this year and the Yankees are not lookin too good with 54 home runs and 156 RBI's missing from 3rd base and replaced with a guy that wasn't good enough to play for the Dodgers. Lets also not forget that Petite and Clemens are not on the team anymore and that their pitching staff was pathetic at best this past season. But I digress, back to Pay-Rod. He is an amazing regular season baseball player. Period. He has proved year in and year out that he is great from April to September. However, he has also proved that he cant get it done in October, which in my mind proves that he is not worth $35 million/year. If I was a team like the Angels or Dodgers, (two of the teams reportedly interested in A-Fraud) I would be looking at Miguel Cabrera a guy that quietly put up 34 home runs 119 RBI's and hit .320. For the money, I would say that Cabrera is a better player than A-Rod.
Oh one more thing, GO SOX!

If you are so sick of A-Rod questions, then why bother asking one? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, does it? "Hey, I'm sick of these A-Rod questions, so I'll ask another one!!" DUH!!!
You also don't make a lot of sense in your comments "Steinbrenner has more money than GOD--Yankees to thank for that". Huh?? Why is Steinbrenner thanking the Yankees for being rich? He bought them for less than $10 million now they are worth over $1 BILLION, he's the one who had the smarts and business acumen to build them up over the years.
Also, "it's about time the Yankes realize that MLB doesn't revolve around them"? What does that have to do with the question? A-Rod doesn't belong to the Yankees any more, so it's more than Yankee fans asking the A-Rod questions. And MLB does kind of revolve around the Yankees, they paid more than $100 MILLION dollars in revenue sharing and luxury tax to MLB last season, which went to other teams. Do you know who made the most money in 2006? The Florida Marlins. They draw the fewest fans, but because they have a low payroll, and collect a big chunk of change from MLB ( and the Yankees) they made big bucks last season. But you never hear about stuff like that now, do you?

There the yankees you fool. this great country of our has some bad teams. Are you proud of losers? ESPN is not the home of the yankees. You should write a letter to Mr. Bud Selig and ask him why teams that get the luxury still suck!! Now, Lets talk A-Rod, MVP and a fool to leave the yankees. Next season you should start checking the standings of MLB and see how many teams across this great counrty of ours suck! Hey Yankee hater, is your team from New England?

Tell that to every team that gets money every year from the Yankees because of revenue sharing.
Tell that to every team that gets three sellouts per season - their three game series with the Yankees.
A-Rod will end up as the 2nd greatest regular-season baseball player in history. Ruth will still be better than either A-Rod or Bonds because Ruth pitched 23 1/3 shut-out innings in the World Series. A-Rod plays better defense at more demanding positions than Bonds, and as a RH batter sees more difficult pitching. Let Bonds or A-Rod be able to pitch like Roger Clemens and they would pass Ruth.

I have thought about posting a question like this. I agree. It's time to just like quit guessing about where this money wad is gunna go and just let life run its course. No matter how much we talk/speculate about it on here it's not gunna change what will happen to A-rod. NO MORE A-ROD QUESTIONS!!

If you're tired of A-Rod questions, why did you post another and ask for comments? You didn't say anything that hasn't appeared in the 10,000 other threads on here from folks jealous of his salary.
