The reason I am not is because I think I have to much on my plate and am not appreciated by my husband.

Your question is a type we philosophers and logicians refer to as a "complex question". A complex or loaded question actually makes a statement instead of seeking information. As such it is a big no-no! Your question presumes that the reader is unhappy right here right now! In my case, I'm about as happy now as ever, and I'm sure the majority of your readers are closer to being happy today than in the depths of suicidal despair! I'm pretty certain that whatever I feel in my heart is not what St. John of the Cross refered to as the "dark night of the soul".

If you are not appreciated by your husband, tell it to him, and not us! There's nothing we can do for you, no matter how inclined we are to humanitarian endeavors and empathy with our fellow humanoids. It may not be too much on your plate that is causing the problem, but too much on your butt! You better find out from the man himself exactly what the problem is, else suffer in silence!

I am happy. It used to be that my wife and I lost virtually all the respect for each other and we just talk to each other as we like.

we had a looooong talk one nite and things are really on the up and up right now. Life couln't be better.

It's a matter of choice. Choose to be sad, and it will continue to be so. Or Choose to be a happy, of every aspect in life. See thing more positive, and give yourself chance to be happy.

Happiness is achieved and attained by oneself, not sent by anyone.

I woke up in this mood. Think it's because I got overstressed this week, now I'm sort of crashing. Depression is neato that way.
