One thing I learned in drawing class, was to look up as you walk down the street. That way you see all the work that architects struggled with. Some fantastic scenery you get that way. Just look down once in awhile so you don`t wind up in a sewer.

When I walk a lot i do, its a bad habit for me. i walk across the street with my head down but i cant help it so yea theyve been close ones but ive never been hurt. But sometimes ill be looking at the ground and ill lift me head up at the perfect time so i wont walk into the pole lol. I especially put my head down when im sad, maybe its also b/c im sort of unsure about myself. When I'm happy I keep my head way up tho lol

I used to, but I realized that was the reason my glasses kept falling down, so now I keep my head up, but with my hair in my face

I notice that I look down ....head down... when I walk.
When I was small, my Dad would always tell me to look at my surroundings and the floor so that I don't trip over /step on/fall into anything...guess it just stuck :)
