My ex and I remained friends after we broke up and we had a pact that if neither of us were married by the time I was 28 and he was 30 we would get married. I'm married, and so is he! Haha.

I haven't even thought of being married to a lover! If there is an outmoded institution in this world it is marriage. It does no one any good except the church and state who have to get there $2.00 worth out of every human activity they can appropriate.

Sometimes a good friend is where one should look. A spouse should be a best friend. Someone you can share anything with, etc. Never done that personally, but maybe I should.

that was always my childhood dream. we would marry eachothers brothers so that we would be sissie in laws and still be friends when we are old and knitting in a rocking chair.
i know. it will never come true! but i wish it would :D

i actually have a friend who fell in love with me that he asked me to marry him someday... but since i enjoy our friendship a lot, i chose another man to be my boyfriend... but soon after, i realized that my boyfriend was cheating on me... so i broke up with him right away...
but am now too shy to even confide to my friend about my broken relationship, its just too unfair at times... we try not to hurt other people but we just end up hurting them all the more by hurting ourselves...
so should he ask me again, in the future, to be his girlfriend, id rather choose him, who knows me and loves me a lot than anybody else... i love him too... its just that i was enjoying our friendship that i didnt want it to go to another level.. but if second chance will be permitted, id gladly grab it... haha....
