I didn't, but my parents did. They met when they were 14 and 15 years old, married at 19 and 20, and stayed together until my mom died at 77. The last few years, when she was so very sick, he took care of her like she was the most precious thing in the world. Ever hear Alabama's song "I Wanna Be Loved Like That"? That should have been their song.
I also have a couple friends in a relationship like that. They were in their 30s when they met, and they've been together since 1981.

Morbid. Not everyone finds true love but those that do find true happines. About 20% of people remain single and as we know 50 to 60 % fail in their first partnership.

I agree with JB. In the movies yes, real life no. I'm not syaing you can't be in love with someone. But I think love always fades. Give it time and someone else catches your eye or one or both of start to question whether you are with the right person. I believe in true lust.

This idea that people are so special that there's only one true love per person out there is romantic tripe. It's the stuff of romance novels and not real life.

Yes you really can find your true love.It may seem difficult at first but trust me just when you feel like giving up you'll find them. But I advise you not to give up.I found my true love her name is Brittany and she is the love of my life.I'd die without her she really changed my entire life.

Yes :] I found mine! It takes time, and a lot of luck and patience. And, sad to say, a lot of losers before you find the right one. Once you do, it's worth it :] Good luck!

Hmmm . . . I'd say that each of us has many potential "soul mates" out there.
I hope we all find at least one of them!
:)
