I love the college football... we really begin to get into the big rivalry games. Alabama vs. Auburn, Ohio State vs. Michigan, Army vs. Navy, Texas vs. Texas A&M, etc. The season is winding down and everything is at stake.

I also love the colors of the trees. The crimson, the gold, the orange. I like taking walks outdoors on a crisp autumn afternoon and hearing the leaves crunch beneath my feet.

And then there is the beginning of the Holiday season with Thanksgiving two weeks from today, and Christmas just around the corner. Spending time with your family, and making lasting memories. It's a special time of the year.

What do you like about this time?

Honestly, I don't care much about football, but then again, I have never REALLY sat down and watched it... I prefer basketball to be my sport that I love to watch and play! Right now my school has just gotten together a boys and a girls basketball team! YEAH, I am on the girls team, and I am so excited to get out there, and play ball.

This autumn/ fall / winter season we are getting into really brings out the good in people, I am really excited to see my little sister start being EXTRA NICE!(and not naughty) so that Santa Clause will bring her lots of wonderful presents!.. I love making people have a brighter day! But I try and do that all year round! Where i live it doesn't get very cold in the winter time, so here it is november, and outside it is 100 degrees... I like it when it gets a little bit colder, for me into the 70s.. lol.. (sad I know..) but to cuddle up with someone speacial, or cuddle with your pet, it always makes it a little speacialer for me!

But before Christmas comes Thanksgiving.. about 3 years ago, my mom told us, that she had cancer, so she very bravely went into surgery, and chemo-therapy, and radiation, and after 2 years of treatment, the doctors said she was cancer free... YEAH RIGHT.. just a couple weeks ago, my mom went in for her mamogram, and all that stuff for breast cancer, because that is what she had. So just recently those tests came back, and said she has cancer STILL.......... BAWLING I say a prayer to my father in heaven that everything will be ok.. and that she will get better.. now tonight, she is in the hospital recovering from getting her breast removed, and awaiting her cancerous uterus to be removed.. For this Thanksgiving I thank my heavenly father for preserving her life this long! I pray that she will be here for many years to come. I pray for your father, who has cancer Daniel, may God be with you!

I'm 16, I definitely have issues but I can say I have surprisingly been having a lot of fun lately. The last year or two I was pretty much "out of it" and unattached to everything and everyone around me because of eating disorders. In the beginning of the school year (which is over soon) I promised myself to "live" and actually take in all the emotions that come with it. Now I'm so much more approachable and have made deeper relationships. I've been used, tried a lot of new things and have been hurt but I wouldn't take it back. I just plan to have more fun which honestly keeps me healthy.

I live in Wisconsin now but was born and raised in California. We only really had one season there... warm/hot! In Wisconsin, I love the changes of the seasons especially the leaves turning color! It's beautiful! And I love the cold and the snow. I think I was a Polar Bear in my last life because I thrive in cold weather! And of course the family getting together for Thanksgiving. My husband and I cook together so it really is a family occasion! I can smell the turkey baking now...

I love the weather. It's crisp and cold, but the frustration of snow storms haven't started yet. I love bundling up on a cold day, seeing your breath outside, then when you get home it's warm and dry.

And I agree with you about the beautiful colors in the trees, as well as upcoming family time. *smile*

I enjoy the beautiful colors all around us and the clean crisp air. Also I enjoy knowing that the holidays are right around the corner. There comes a special feeling this time of year that I can't explain, but it is the best feeling. :)

Wow! I have to pretty much repeat what you said. Every week is special. I enjoy the long Thanksgiving holiday and the tree lighting in Rockefeller Center. Everything is decorated nicely for the holidays and it's a festive time of year!

And I spend time with the family and give thanks for all our many blessings.

The heat of the summer is over, the freezing temperatures of winter are not here yet, and the leaves are a gorgeous color. Cool brisk mornings and pleasant days. Autumn is awesome.

The leaves, the cold weather, and the excuse to stay in and keep warm. =]

We don't have Thanksgiving here, so I guess it's Christmas to look forward to next! =]
