They sure could! After all, Kitna promised it, and I believed him then!

Here is how I see the DEEEEETroit Lions performance for the rest of the season.

at Arizona Cardinals Win
N.Y. Giants Loss
Green Bay Packers (Thanksgiving) Win!
at Minnesota Vikings Win
Dallas Cowboys Loss
at San Diego Chargers Loss
Kansas City Chiefs Win
at Green Bay Packers Loss - but a win here could be HUGE!

It starts this weekend with a big win against the Cardinals!

The Lions were 4-12 last year and was a lot better than that record.

They are benefiting from a very soft schedule due to that deceiving 4-12 mark from last year.

I'm not surprise that they are having the season they are having. They will win possibly 3 to 4 more games giving them 9-7 or 10-6 for the season.

Yeah, of course the Detroit Lions will win 10 games. I believe they and the Green Bay Packers will be in the NFC Championship game, which then will lead to Super Bowl XLII With the New England Patriots Vs. The Green Bay Packers where the score will be 35-17 Patriots.

I think they can... However getting a favorable schedule because of their record is false. That no longer exists, it went out with the 8 division realignment. 14 of the 16 games are predetermined. Only 2 are a result of previous record. Those two teams are Arizona and Tampa Bay.

They have SD at home- winable, Giants -very winable (their 6 wins have come against team WORSE than the Lions' wins..and they call the Lions a pretender..sheesh!)

Arizona (win) and I think they split with GB...

That's 10 with possible wins against Minnesota and KC

12 wins are not out of reach.

At the beginning of this season, I made a bet with a co-worker, with him saying they would win 10 and I saying it will never happen ...well I am still saying, 10 isnt going to happen. The quality of the teams still on the schedule is markably higher than the teams they have beat. They still havent established a dependable running game and still make the mental mistakes that will blow up a game.

They will come close, but I don't think so. Detriot has by far the toughest part of their schedule remaining. They still have games remaining with San Diego, KC, Dallas, the Giants, and two with the Packers. They should be able to beat Arizona and Minnesota, which will get them to 8 wins, but I'm not sure that they'll manage to win 2 of the other 6.

It's possible. They only have to go .500 the rest of the season to get 10 wins.

But then again, we're talking about the Lions.

Probably. They are fun team to watch and playing great.

But winning in the playoffs take a combination of being well rounded, and experienced. So i dont think they will go very far in the playoffs this year. I would watch out for them next year though.

I think so... If they can win 1 of the 2 games against GB, then I think they have a very good chance to.

They are 6-2 right now and I see them getting to 8-8, the tough part of their schedule is coming.
