yes we went down to the south coast this year for a midweek break, we were heading for weymouth but ended up in a little place called bowleaze cove (very near weymouth), it was great, the sea was clean, the beach was pebbly but nice and the cafe and seaside fair (for little kids) was excellent, we spent all day there and didnt bother with weymouth
