okay i am 18 and at night and the next morning sometimes i have heart burn. at least i think it is heart burn. the only thing is i can feel it in my back also. it feels like pressure kinda. i can breathe normally and stuff. is this normal or is there something else going on?? it usually happens if i have too much caffine. i take supplements once in a while to stay awake cause im in college. any suggestions?

yup, heartburn. and it isn't normal by any means, you are damaging the lining of your esophagus, which can lead to serious erosion and bleeding. Suggest that you need your rest more than you need to stay up late for the sake of your health. Heartburn, or gastro esophagel reflux isn't a small thing, it can lead to complications that can kill you.

The coffee may be causing the heartburn. There is a condition called GERD. It is gastroesophogeal in nature and causes a burn. If your supplements have caffine in them, they can contribute to the heartburn.

That used to happen to me also, I would feel the pain in my lower back, and a burning pain in my stomach. My dr put me on prilosec and it stopped. It was Gerd/Acid Reflux for me.
