I think at 70 you should have to take a driving test every 5 years, and get a vision test every year. Also a reaction test every year. It is completely unsafe to have 90 year olds driving. I know they'll feel like we are taking away their rights, but as my parents told me when i first got my license driving is a privilege, not a right!

Not really, that wouldn't be fair to older drivers who still have their faculties intact. I do think older people after say, age 65 or 70, should have to take an annual driving test, or get a physical from their doctor, or something, to make sure they are still able to drive safely.
My parents were both excellent drivers until the day they died (in their seventies), and I've seen very healthy, robust people in their 80s who still drive just fine. On the other hand, I've seen people at 65, or even less, who scare me!
Just yesterday, we had a lady who appeared to be in her sixties, come into the auto parts store where I work, and thought she was in the bread store! She even asked for a cart! I was very worried when she got into her car and drove away! I think if you can't tell a bread store from an auto parts store, you probably shouldn't be behind the wheel of a car!

In our country, at the age of 70 they will be having an annual drive test and eyesight test. if they pass, they still can continue to drive. if they fail, their driver's license will retain but are not allowed to drive anymore or a specific area only for aged people to drive thru. their cars must be placed with a sign/sticker indicating that the driver is above the normal age level.

yes regardless of if they have to depend on themselves because no family members will help them. once they start showing unsafe driving habits then test them.

No but I believe older people should have to retake their driver's tests frequently the older they get.
