If we win the upcoming australian test series, we will be become the Champions.
Consistency determines true champions and no doubt why Australians are THE CHAMPIONS.

Not a chance, look at England, they won the ashes in 2005 then they lost 5-0 in the next series against australia, you have to be consistent, Australia has only lost 6 tests at home since 1996. India will not win a game this summer, australia 4-0.

There are no Test champions. The best are determined through performance rankings.
India will not beat Australia in a Test or One Day format.

No. Only by winning against Australia we will not become Champions. Presently India is placed at No. 3 in LG ICC Test Championship rankings. Australia with 141 points and England with 111 points are ahead of India. India is placed at no. 3 with 107 points. If India have to become Champions, they have to overtake the 141 points held by Australia and 111 points held by England.

Its my belief that to be the best you have to beat everyone in all conditions as well as their own. Should anyone come to Australia and beat us in a series then that definately gives bragging rights for a time. However if you beat australia in australia but fail to beat England in England or Pakistan in Pakistan etc then how can you call yourself test champions?
I believe the Aussies will be top dogs for years to come but I want to see them tested to the limit not just winning easily all the time.
Go Aussies

No, Australia is currently ranked #1, with a rating of 141. India is ranked #3, with a rating of 107.

Even if India won all its matches with Australia, their rating would not grow enough to surpass Australia's rating.
