I believe that there is an organized effort by the Chinese government to take over North America. look at the tainted pet food, mouthwash, and all that other stuff. are you telling me that there is no "quality control" in place? or that they don't know the potential danger of what they're doing? of course they do. this is a carefully thought-out, well-orchestrated plan to cripple N.A. so they can take it over, even more than they already have.
and people don't seem to understand this.

No, I think it would be that the Chinese gov. is secretly letting THEIR kids play with these tainted toys to kill THEM, since there is like, a billion of them.

FYI there are Chinese kids in America too! There's no way the Chinese gov. can kill all the American kids without killing Chinese kids in America. Besides if they did do that, Chinese people would turn on them because Chinese people have relatives living in America.

Idiotic.

If the USA suddenly stopped buying anything from China, then China's economy would go into a severe recession/depression.

They need our money as much as we need cheap products.

The problem is that China is about 100 years behind the USA in terms of health and safety regulations. They aren't evil. They are more like the "robber baron" capitalists of 19th century America. They are so focused on making money that they are neglecting product safety. Its hard to imagine, but only because in the West we DO have strong product safety laws.
