It will not hurt either the computer or the memory stick to leave it 24/7. If you are goin to leave it there all the time, be careful that you use an "out of way" USB port so that you do not accidently bump into the stick and break it. (I see that all the time)

You most certainly can! But I would warn that if it's sticking out a front USB port or from your keyboard--or anywhere else that makes its presence pronounced, be VERY careful of bumping into it. You could easily damage the usb stick or even the device the USB port is on--like your PC motherboard!

well i never thought it was a good thing for the memory stick.. but for work reasons.. i started leaving it on for days and weeks constantly using it on a minutely basis.. i even started leaving my ipod on too.. well i havent encountered any problems.

i would not reccomend it. my flash drive starts getting hot after a while somthing inside might melt. it doesnt have a fan like your computer does.
