Ive just been shopping and when i was putting my items on the conveyer belt the woman in front of me was watching every item i put on...i started to pick up an item and waving it in front of her face and saying a slow voice "doughnuts" then another item saying "persil washing powder"...lol...she got my point!
Do you watch what others put on the conveyer belt ...if so....why?

How nosy!
I personally love it when someone can't stop staring at me, so I either stare back or pretend to pick my nose while staring back at them and they usually don't know what to do after that!

Ha ha, good for you.I always make a point of not looking at the groceries belonging to the person in front of me.I think it's invasion of their personal space.I don't like people nosing at my goods either.Especially if it's ladies stuff and a man is looking at it.The only time I will look, is to look behind me to see if the person there has less items than me.I did it yesterday in fact, and I let the gent go before me.He thanked me and said I was a lady.Smiles all round, a happy shopping trip was had.

Only if they are in front of me and it's not obvious that I'm looking at them. I would never turn around and look at people's stuff.
I look because a) the grocery store is boring and I've already read the headlines to all the magazines and b) I like to see what other people eat.

No and hate it when others do. I once had a kid lean over my trolly and pick up each item one by one and show it to all in the queue. Her mother just stood blankly by and said nothing. I was too shocked to give the brat a thump! but someone should as they are the type who grow up to be nosy trolly inspectors.

No I just look at a magazine or I am usually distracted by something else. I don't care what the person in front of me buys.

Not usually. I'm always in a hurry to get out of the store. And I hate it when other people look in my cart to see what I am buying.

Not outright nosey but I do take a bit of a slight peek, I always seem to be behind those who have tons of cakes and sweet things in their trolley or tons of booze.

lol...Yes I do watch others,..I'm just curious about people and what they buy,sometimes its interesting to try and figure out how many they are feeding,if their single,etc...Hey I am bored so why not keep my mind busy while I'm waiting on the check out..=)
I wish that would of been me watching you,we'd of shared a laugh or two..=)

LOL. I do hate it yes! Also hate it when the check out girl says something like "Aaww you have sore throat do you? These lozenges will help you. I had sore throat last week. Awful!"
