I'm a carer by the way and yes; they're elderly and yes; half of them have dementia but they can't half hit hard.

Yes but more metaphorical than yours by the sounds of things. My make up and sunglasses are like my armour on days when I need it; nobody gets to see the real me, just a painted smiling parody.
