if you go to an auto store like Kragens for example they should have a big book right in front of the winshield wipers that you can go through and it will tell you what size you need.
For a Ford F-150 you will probabley need 21 inch wipers.
These are a little tricky to replace. I prefere to go get my oil changed and ask them to replace the wipers too. I know ...I'm lazy.

go to most any parts place, (autozone, etc.) and ask for wipers for your truck.

They'll pick 'em out and put 'em on for you.

Might cost an extra buck or two, but takes all the guess work out of it.

I'd probably buy a mid or mid-high grade wiper. They'll give you several options, but the cheapest are usually a bad choice and the most expensive are usually some gimmick like 'Triple Blade with Teflon Technology' yada, yada that isnt worth the cost difference.

I do know 15" blades are too small. I had a Ranger and it took larger blades, as does my Mustang. It should be at least 20" or 22" blades.

If you aren't exactly sure, most discount stores, ie Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, etc. have computers set up and you put in your information and it gives you the exact wiper blade you need.

Most Pep Boys, Autozone etc. will know which ones will fit also.

Or you can check here...

Go to the aisle in the store where they sell wipers.

There is a book (or 3) that is chained to the shelves and then you look up your car/truck by make (Ford) year (97) and model (F-150). the book(s) will tell you exactly which ones you need.

Or go to nearly any gas station, and although you will pay a premium, they will do it for you and install them.
